Alicia V. Sharpe has a passion for helping women experience a life full of God’s love, empowering them to get unstuck and enabling them to discover and live their lives with purpose.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in music education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a bachelor’s degree in practical ministry from the Wagner Leadership Institute. Alicia has countless hours of biblical study and practical, hands-on ministry. She attended Every Nation School of Campus Ministry and completed the Victory Leadership Institute as well as the “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” course. Alicia also participated in “Restoring the Foundations”, a course in which she received training in inner healing. For more than 11 years, she served alongside her husband as a full-time collegiate campus minister and together they raised their own support. Alicia has over 20 years of experience discipling women and teaching them how to live an abundant life in Christ. She has led numerous women’s groups, spoken at special events and mentored and coached others to help them overcome their fears and regain freedom in their lives while deepening their friendships with Jesus.
Recently, Alicia’s life has been powerfully impacted through her involvement with prison ministry where she has the opportunity to lead worship and minister to women in the prisons. Worship ministry and music are major parts of her life and Alicia has trained and led worship teams for various ministries and churches for over 20 years. She plays lead acoustic guitar, piano and sings. She currently serves as the worship leader at her church.
In 2013, Alicia authored and self-published a book called “Living Free, Like You’re 3!”. In 2017, she began hosting her own daily encouragement podcast called “Morning Moxie” and launched her ministry “Unstuck and Unstoppable”.
Even though Alicia grew up going to church, her heart was truly transformed by Jesus when she was 17 and she has never turned back. During the changing seasons of her life, she holds onto this promise in scripture: “God is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us” – Ephesians 3:20. We truly are unstoppable in Christ.
Alicia and her husband of 20 years, Chris, reside in North Carolina. Together they are raising their 4 children: Laurin, Hope, Stephen and Allie.
